Pack Unit

Pack Units are the allowable units of measure in an Item Pack.

The "pack" tools allow you define complex outer (unit) and inner (pack) packaging configurations for any item; it also allows you to define a third descriptive level named "inner packs". Taken together, these packaging configurations are referred to as "packs".

Items can have more than one pack configuration, depending on how different items are sold. Pack configuration impacts the way quantities are input in Sales Orders, Shipping, and Update Pick List screens.

Pack Unit Fields

Pack Unit ID	The unit ID.
Pack Unit Name	The name of the unit of measure.
Status	A=active, I=inactive
